The traditional process for preparing ultrapure water for batteries is to use anion and yang resin exchange equipment. The disadvantage of this process is that the anion and yang resin must be regenerated frequently after a period of use. With the continuous maturity of industrial membrane separation technology, the reverse osmosis membrane water treatment process is often used, or the first-level reverse osmosis is followed by an ion exchange mixed bed (or electrodeionization EDI) process to produce ultrapure water. The EDI device does not need acid-base regeneration: the resin in the mixed bed needs to be regenerated with chemicals acid-base, and EDI eliminates the processing and heavy work of these harmful substances, protect the environment.
